Sephora rarely runs sitewide coupons, so the savings come from its free Beauty Insider account. Sign in and standard shipping is free on every order. Save big restocks for the Savings Event, usually in April and again around early November, when members get 10% to 20% off. Just know returns are down to 30 days.

Sephora savings
Beauty Insider members get free standard shipping on all U.S. merchandise orders. Guest checkout needs $50 before tax, and smaller guest orders pay a shipping fee.
Twice a year, usually April and late October into November. Insiders get 10%, VIB 15%, Rouge 20%, and Rouge shops a few days early. Other offers can’t be combined with it.
You earn 1 point per dollar. At 500 points you can turn them into $10 off at checkout, or spend them on samples and rewards instead.
One gift during your birthday month, or 250 points instead. No purchase needed in a Sephora store; on Sephora.com you need a $25 order to claim it.

The order to stack Sephora savings
Start by signing in. It sounds minor, but guests pay for shipping under $50 and members don’t. Then time the big cart for the Savings Event. The spring one ran April 10 to 20 in 2026, and the fall one has landed around the start of November in past years. Sephora announces dates a few weeks ahead.
At checkout, turn 500 points into $10 off. During the Savings Event you can’t add other promo codes, so points and your tier discount are the whole stack. Outside sales, look for gift-with-purchase offers instead of chasing codes. Most “Sephora coupon” sites list codes that are expired or for a single brand.
Beauty Insider tiers: when VIB and Rouge pay off
Everyone starts as an Insider for free. Spend $350 in a calendar year and you’re VIB; $1,000 makes you Rouge. Status lasts the rest of that year and all of the next, so qualifying early in the year gives you nearly two years.
Don’t spend more just to move up. The jump from 15% to 20% off during the Savings Event is worth $50 on a $1,000 year. Rouge also gets early sale access and larger rewards, which helps if you already spend that much, not if you’re stretching to reach it. Points expire after 12 months without a purchase or redemption.
Returns and Sephora at Kohl’s: the fine print
For purchases since April 24, 2025, you have 30 days to return new or gently used items for a refund to your original payment. Online orders come with a prepaid label, but original shipping costs usually aren’t refunded. You need proof of purchase, and your Beauty Insider history counts.
Sephora at Kohl’s is a separate till. You earn Beauty Insider points and tier credit if your accounts are linked, and Kohl’s Rewards on top. But returns go back to Kohl’s, and Kohl’s Cash won’t pay for Sephora items. Check your Beauty Insider balance after a Kohl’s trip; missed points usually mean the accounts weren’t linked.
